We report a new record of Herpailurus yagouaroundi based on a specimen killed by a domestic dog near gallery forests of the Yaguarón river, Brazil's southern limit with Uruguay, and to the species' known distribution range in Brazil, indicating the potential role of those forests as biological corridors.
